…you’ll smell the smoke as someone bags all the points. We hope for your sake that you are that guy getting everything, in which case, happy watching the others fume!!
…you’ll hear shouting from a fight about to break out discussing a question/ answer. Better yet, you might be the guy fighting to win!!
…you’ll help yourself gain more confidence, and help the person who has lost his.
… you’ll be able to hear your own heartbeat go “dhak, dhak” as you race to the finish to win the quiz. Yay!!
…you’ll be able to set your own standards and prove to your friends and most importantly test your quiz reflexes.
…Pantan is back in India, and he has promised to sponsor a prize for the best quizzer of this meeting – Hold your breath for: a date with Pantan!!
Saving the best for last, quizzing will be more like living and less like watching television. Provided you don’t sell TVs for a living, this should hold good!!

Hi Friends
It’s that time of the year once again when we celebrate IQL’s birthday (the actual date is on Oct 12) with a series of quizzes on various topics.
A new Quiz will be uploaded by Saturday evenings/ late evenings (starting from September 19th). It will be based on a particular topic. For accessing the quiz, you will have to visit one of the sub-pages (whose links you will find on the right side of this page or at the bottom of this post) corresponding to the date. The quizzes will be theme-based, ranging from movies to books to sports.
All attempts to be posted in the comments section in the particular sub-page. Comments will be moderated – so do not post your answers more than once.
Every weekend the correct answers and attempts will be revealed and a new quiz posted.
Happy Quizzing.
Varun Reddy (on behalf of Team IQL)

Hi
Hantan here. In continuation of keeping ourselves intellectually entertained, and to learn more about the whole new world out there, we IQL members, fans and well wishers have decided to meet up this saturday. PFA details of the meeting.
Venue: Cafe Coffee Day, Ispahani center.
Date : May 2nd, 2009
Time : 10.00 am (we love IPL, Two/Too)
If you belong to any of the afore mentioned category(IQL member/fan/well wisher) we request you to show up with 10 questions each. As the old adage goes, there is no free lunch, so we would also like to inform you that folks who dont bring questions, will not be allowed to be a part of the meeting.

Cabala and Harish said they have 10 questions, KN and me also chirped the same thing. Sana nodded his head in the affirmative as well. Yaggy and Murthy joined us in the meantime..We were just 7.
As far as I remember, this week’s IQL was the least attended by the junta in Chennai, you can blame it on the exams, the EPL, hot bajji’s, Vadivelu comedy scenes or a religious procession carried out by some inane political party…
We all took our places inside the cool environs of CCD Indira Nagar, thanks to the bloke (the store manager, I reckon), who offered us the much needed air-conditioning and the power for the lap-top.
All of did short, snappy quizzes which was posed to an open house, as the quorom made team-formation a worthless excercise. The questions were of great standard and couple of ones from Cabala, Yaggy and Harish really made everyone appreciate their research.
We hope to have more people next time…
From this review onwards we have decided to post 5 questions, that were asked in the respective meetings. Please leave the answers as comments and we’ll post the correct answers with the succeding week’s review.
Questions from this week’s meet:
Hope to see you at the next meeting. Keep watching this blog for more details; as always
